From Manchester follow A62 Oldham, then at the top of the A62 under the by-pass, follow A62 for Halifax and Huddersfield. Follow signs for A62 Huddersfield and climbing out of Waterhead past Austerlands Chimney, beyond the left hand bend where the road levels out, The Three Crowns is on the left.

From Huddersfield follow A62 Oldham over the Pennines through Standedge Cutting, continue following signs for A62 Oldham down through the Delph crossroads and up the rising A62 past the Star Inn (left) and Scouthead Filling Station (right), as the road levels out, the Three Crowns is on the right.

From the M62 take Junction 22, follow signs for Saddleworth, then at Denshaw junction follow signs for Delph, continue through Delph and pick up signs for A62 Oldham, continue as for Huddersfield directions above.
Ample parking is provided at the rear of or opposite to the Three Crowns.
